Australia and New Zealand Aerosol Assembly (ANZAA)

The Australia New Zealand Aerosol Assembly (ANZAA) is the newest CASANZ SIG.

Previously operating as an independent organisation over the past 10 years, ANZAA focuses on research and practical management of all aspects of aerosols and particles.

Annual 2-3 day informal workshops are run each year in different locations. To view the most recent Workshop papers, held on 22-24 July, 2015, visit the Workshop Transcript page.

The current SIG Chair is Professor Lidia Morawska Email.

Chairs rotate each year to the organiser of the next workshop. Persons with interests in aerosol and particle pollution, chemistry, sources, emissions and management are encouraged to join the SIG.

To be added to the mailing list, please contact Vicki Callaway, CASANZ Administration Officer via email.

Workshop Update and Program

With just over three weeks left to the ANZAA in Brisbane, we are pleased to present a draft program of the event, packed with interesting presentations organised into a number of sessions – to download, click here. Please note a new, cross disciplinary special session on Remote Sensing/LUR, to which we invite everybody, not only those with interest in aerosols.

We invite all presenters to consider submitting an extended abstract or a full paper to the special issue of the CASANZ Air Quality and Climate Change Journal.  It has just been announced that the November 2016 edition will be devoted to the ANZAA workshop!  More details will be available shortly.

We would like to remind you that there is no formal registration to our Workshop or any of its sessions; everybody is welcome to attend, but for catering purpose please let Chantal Labbe Email know that you are coming.
