EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Air Quality and Climate Change Journal
Air Quality and Climate Change is the flagship Journal publication for the Clean Air Society of Australia and New Zealand (CASANZ). CASANZ is seeking a new Deputy Editor to work with the Editor, Travis Ancelet, to move the Journal positively into the future.
Journal contents currently include scientific and technical papers (peer reviewed), environment and industry news, editorials, conference reports, book reviews, Branch reports, and other items of interest. The new Deputy Editor will have the opportunity to contribute ideas and suggestions for the continual improvement of the publication, future editions and special features.
It is expected that the successful applicant will have the following skills and experience:
- familiarity with Journal construction and format;
- publications in internationally recognised journals;
- good English writing and grammar skills;
- ability to interact positively with a wide range of people, both within and outside CASANZ;
- time to organise issues to meet deadlines;
The Journal is published four times per year (February, May, August, and November), and is available on-line through RMIT Publishing.

Interested persons should submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) which includes a one page statement regarding their approach as Deputy Editor, and a CV, including publications. The EOI should be sent to Vicki Callaway, Administration Officer, via email by Friday, 8 July, 2016.
This position attracts 7 CPD points per full membership year.
