QLD BRANCH VIRTUAL TECHNICAL MEETING
Ethics and the Environment
Wednesday, 21 October, 2020
The Queensland Branch committee invite members and non-members to hear from a special guest presentation. Martina Chelini from Ethical Advise, will lead us through the tricky waters of ethics when businesses are navigating environmental compliance and social engagement.
As a professional, operating ethically and with integrity should be at the front of our minds in all that we do. This is also the foundation of the CAQP accreditation. Operating within an ethical framework should also inform the decision making of businesses. However, some decisions made by businesses can put a strain on the relationship between that business and their consultant or the regulator. It is therefore the responsibility of the consultant or regulator to provide advice to ensure the best outcome for the business, community and the environment, not just the business’s bottom line.
Our guest presenter, has many years’ experience working with a range of industries in Australia and the UK on issues from information technologies and communication to the environment and climate change.
Please join us online for an in-depth presentation and discussion on ethics and the environment.
