MANAGING NOISE AND DUST IMPACTS
FROM LARGE INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS

Melbourne is seeing a significant increase in the number and complexity of major infrastructure projects starting. These include the Wind farms, The West Gate Tunnel, Metro Tunnel and level crossing removal projects. These types of projects can cause impacts for the community from noise and particulates emissions.

  • Christophe Delaire from Marshall Day will talk about his experiences in managing noise impacts from major projects including how to assess noise levels and impacts as well as what can be done to reduce these impacts.
  • Paul Sparks has been involved in a number of these projects in the past and will talk about his experiences in managing dust impacts, including the monitoring and assessment of projects as they are constructed.
