CASANZ is thrilled to announce that we will be hosting a four day WRF Training Course in partnership with the University of Technology Sydney. This course will be presented by experts from the Mesoscale & Microscale Meteorology Laboratory, National Centre for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), Boulder Colorado. The Weather Research and Forecasting Model (WRF) is a next-generation mesoscale numerical weather prediction system designed for both atmospheric research and operational forecasting applications. The model serves a wide range of meteorological applications across scales from tens of meters to thousands of kilometres. The National Center for Atmospheric Research (NCAR), in collaboration with others, developed WRF in the late 1990s.
